STORY BOARD

Here is our completed story board of all the shots and possible filming locations.

The first shot is of a terrace house with the top windows light on.

We thought that this would be a good establishing shot to use as it showed where our characters lived. This gives the viewer a idea of what background the the characters come from, which the target audience might be able to relate to.

The camera then zooms into the lit window and we see a silhouette of the girls getting ready. We then zoom out of the window and zoom into the boys room. The next shot is a close up of the main male character and the main female character. The shots the alternate between the two, too the rhythm of the music. By zooming out of the final shot of the female character laughing, you are then taken into the girls room. Here we see the girls sitting on the bed straightening their hair and chatting on the laptop.

We then zoom into the girls laptop and zoom out of the boys computer, this helps the viewer to establish a connection between the two main characters as they are linked in a conversation via the internet. We then pan round the boys room showing a typical scene of boys lazily getting ready to go out. We then see an on screen message where the girls asks "what you up to tonight?", then "soz got to go xXx". We though if we used more (Loose) language our target audience might be able to relate to it.

The next shot is of the girls leaving the house and getting onto the bus. As this happens the music changes beat and leads us into the second verse.

The main male character then turns round to talk to the other boys in the room and asks if the wanted to go out. They all decide to get up and go out. We then hear the music change and the lyrics are "we got to clubs, you go to clubs to", here we will show an establishing shot of a night club.

In shot 15 we see the boys leaving the house and getting into the car. We wanted to use a typical British "first car" and as it happens a friend of ours has a Mini cooper, which was perfect for this scene.

We then see the boys entering Brighton (our main shooting location) and passing several well know landmarks. Also as the girls travel on the bus we see them pass the same landmarks. This was so there was still a link between the two groups.

The first shot in this sequence is through a CCTV camera located on the bus, showing the girls drinking and messing around. (This could be difficult depending if we can get permission from the Travel company) We then follow the girls getting off the bus and walking towards the clubs. However in order to get to the clubs they have to cross the road, at which this point they see the boys driving past. The main male character and the main female character make eye contact and the whole scene slows down, as if its just the two of them. We see the boys park up and chase the girls down the street and follow them towards the club.

The last few shots are when the two groups meet and the main male walks towards the main female, however just as that happens her boyfriend comes up behind her and hugs her. We then see the disappointment on the boys face and he turns and walks away.

This is the power point presentation, however i was unable to attend college (due to family reasons) when the filming of the presentation was taking place.
